Meal Plan With Me (Thanksgiving Edition!)

I can’t believe it is the end of November already! Even more so, I can’t believe that I’ve been consistently meal planning the entire month… and here we are at Week 4! What’s even more fun about this week is that it is Thanksgiving Week! When it comes to meal planning, Thanksgiving and other major holidays can be amazing. Just think “leftovers”!

Just like the previous weeks, before planning for the upcoming week, I take a look at the previous or current week’s plan. (I say “current week” because I tend to do my meal planning on Sundays, which is the last day of the end I plan for.) Here is a look at last week’s meal plan! Let’s see how we did.

Last week’s meal plan with some mid-week edits.

There’s no surprise here. Plans always change. For example, Monday morning breakfast. If you follow me on Instagram, in my stories I talked about how I accidentally forgot to put away the leftover Sunday Brunch! Ugh, it still hurts a little to even mention it. I left an abundance of pumpkin pancakes, bacon, and eggs in a foil pan, where? Right. In. The. Oven. Have you ever left out food that you intended to eat later? It’s the worse. Nevertheless, life goes on and so does this meal planning session. Time to go in the planner!

I keep the Happy Planner Meal Planner page inside my planner and then type up a printed copy for the fridge.

Aren’t you hungry after looking at that menu? I know I am! Can you tell that we love side dishes? There are definitely more sides that main dishes on our Thanksgiving Menu, but that’s how we like it. I would say that my favorite thing on the Thanksgiving Menu would be the mac and cheese… or maybe the candied yams. Both! I can’t decide because both are so good, if the recipe is right!

If you want to see my exact meal planning process IN REAL TIME, then you’ll definitely want to take a look at my Meal Plan With Me YouTube video for this week.

I’m really looking forward to Thanksgiving this week! Does your Thanksgiving Menu have any similarities to mine? What’s your favorite type of Thanksgiving food? Are you a Mains, Sides, or Desserts kinda Mama? Definitely let me know in the comments! Happy Thanksgiving!
